We're Exeter Family Friendly, a mutual protection and healthcare insurer that minimises the cost and impact of ill-health for our members and their families.

This means that when our members are ill or injured, our income protection plans will help them pay their bills and other financial commitments if they are unable to work, by paying them a regular replacement income.

It means that if they need medical treatment, our private medical insurance plans will help pay for speedy access to private medical treatment to get them back to health.

As a friendly society we don't have any shareholders. Instead, all of our effort goes towards improving our products and service for our members, making us that little bit different from most insurers.

We're proud that our products deliver when our members need them most and are always happy to publish our claims performance. During 2010, we paid over 95% of all income protection and private medical insurance claims.
